As you nervously auditioned, I nervously watched with all of these questions in mind. As each and every one of you took your place on those bleachers to deliver your monologue and song, my worries were alleviated (English teacher word!). I watched the characters that I love so much, and have been with me since I watched the movie as a young girl, come to life in front of me, and I began to see the possibilities.
Now that our shows are over, I can safely say that you exceeded my expectations by giving your all to "Birdie." You are a very talented, dedicated bunch. The friends that you made and the moments that you shared will stay with you for a lifetime. Thank you for a wonderful year!
